Freezer sausage breakfast sandwiches are easy to make, easy to store, and perfect for busy mornings!

When I got married in 2019, I quickly realized my husband was perfectly fine with eating fast food every morning. I, on the other hand, was not OK with this 🤣 lol.
I wanted to make sure my picky husband was eating somewhat of a healthy breakfast, so I started making him these freezer breakfast sandwiches to take to work. They not only taste great, but they are super convenient and can be made in bulk
Perks of Making Your Own Freezer Sausage Breakfast Sandwiches
- Saving $$: Breakfast sandwiches may not be expensive, but they sure can add up over time! Spending $5 a day, during a 5 day work week, could cost you over $100 a month! I like to be frugal whenever possible, so I always opt for making my own meals.
- Controlled Ingredients: Who knows what’s inside a fast food breakfast sandwich? I don’t. I don’t even think I could pronounce half of the ingredients used to make fast food breakfast sandwiches. When I make my own sandwiches, I know EXACTLY what’s going in them!
Freezer Sausage Breakfast Sandwich Ingredients

- English Muffins
- Sausage Patties
- Eggs
- Cheese, any type will do!
Other Items You May Need

- Parchment Paper: When you wrap your breakfast sandwiches in parchment paper, you will be able to directly place them in the microwave without having to use a plate or napkins.
- Foil: This extra step not only helps to reduce the likelihood of your sandwiches getting freezer burned, but it also creates a smooth surface for my custom made breakfast sandwich stickers.
- Sticker Labels: It’s always important to label your freezer meals because let’s be honest, sometimes we have no clue what is in our freezer or how long its been there. Snag my FREE breakfast sandwich printable at the bottom of this post. All you have to do is print the labels onto some water resistant sticker paper like these.
- Freezer Safe Ziploc bag: After wrapping your sandwiches in foil, you can put them in a freezer safe Ziploc bag for the ultimate amount of protection against freezer burn.
How to Make/Freeze Sausage Breakfast Sandwiches

- Brown your sausage patties and set them aside
- Crack a few eggs into a hot cast iron pan and cook until the egg whites become solid. Right before you’re about to flip the eggs, break the yolk. Runny eggs don’t freeze well. Set the eggs aside and repeat until all of your eggs are cooked.
- Before assembling your sandwiches, allow your ingredients to cool COMPLETELY. If you don’t, your sandwiches will become soggy >_<
- Place your sausage, egg, and cheese onto your English muffin and wrap with parchment paper, followed by foil.
- Label your sandwiches, put them in a freezer safe Ziploc bag, and store them in the freezer.
- When you’re ready to eat your sandwiches, take them out of the freezer and let them thaw overnight. To warm up your sandwiches, place them in the microwave for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
- ENJOY!
